‘Graphic Novel – Update No.4′
I can now officially confirm that Architect is now finished! Hooray! Here are some images from a mock-up of the whole darn thing….
However, the journey is not over yet. I really want to get this book to loads of people. My main priorities are to allow people to enjoy a high-quality full-colour version of the book with a fair and reasonable price tag. I will be looking at options regarding proper publishing and self-publishing. In the next few weeks, I’ll be researching, analysing, thinkin’, etc about the best way to get the book to the people who would like the book. Perhaps you? Yes?… Don’t worry, you don’t have to answer that question yet. It was purely rhetorical.
In the meantime, I have ideas for web comics! And I will begin posting on a regular basis again. There’s going to be funny characters, gripping narratives, internal existential conflicts, balloons, dinosaurs, onions, stuff… I’m sure that you’ll like it.
Also, I visited Aardman Studios on Thursday!
All in all, much fun has been had recently.

Architect – Final cover design
(Mini-update: I’m now entering the final month of my Architect project. Progress seems fairly good at the moment and I’m now working mostly on background details. Also, I might actually upload a proper comic soon so you can all have something interesting and funny to look at)

‘Graphic Novel – Update No.3’
Hello Everyone,
I hope you are all enjoying the New Year so far. I just wanted to share another update with you guys since there has been a fair amount of progress on “Architect” recently! Firstly, I have just received a printed test copy of the first 1/3 of the book…

I’m pleased to announce that I’m very happy with the quality of the printing. I think it looks pretty smart! I got the copy from lulu.com, which is where I get all my books printed. If you’re looking into print on demand services, I recommend them. Sadly, they can be a bit expensive but I think it’s worth it just to see your book actually printed properly!

Now I’m feeling extra confident about this book, I can steam ahead towards my target of 108 wonderful looking full-colour pages!
Currently, my schedule is looking pretty good. To be honest with you all, the red boxes in this image do represent “bad days of not doing very much,” but this is because I’m doing hundreds of other projects/things instead! Eating also takes up a large amount of my time. However, despite all the cake I have to eat within the next few weeks, I think I can finish Architect by my deadline in April.
