About two years ago, I was working on a short comics series called “Matt Bluebear and the Firelands”. For one reason or another, the project was put on the backburner and I got caught up with some other work.
However, I recently stumbled across an early proof copy of the first book and I was quite surprised to see that it was in pretty good shape! It only needed a bit of tweaking and some editing.
Anyway, I have finished tweaking!
One day I might return to writing the rest of this series, but in the meantime, here is book one, “Hell City”!

About the Cards

At the heart of The Space Cat Oracle is Moo—our amazing cat in the physical, who passed into spirit a few years ago. Though no longer here in body, Moo remains very much present in energy. Long story short, he’s now part of my guide team, and working with his energy has always been magical and playful.
I’ve always loved drawing Moo. He had a brilliant sense of humour when he was here with us, and that same mischievous charm continues to shine through in these artworks. Across this deck, you’ll see Moo embodying a wide spectrum of archetypes and energies. Sometimes he appears as the Fool, leaping into the unknown. Other times, he’s the Hermit, the Empress, the enlightened being—or even the shadow.
He shifts between masculine and feminine, light and dark, reminding us that the whole “self” is made up of many different aspects.
Moo continues to mentor me through our connection, guiding the creative process with his playfulness. His presence is woven into every illustration, and this deck wouldn’t exist without him.
Whether it’s comics, painting, illustration, storytelling, needlefelting, being creative is such an important part of my soul’s expression.
As an artist, I’ve tried to make my artwork as accessible as possible, and I’ll continue to sharing as much of my art on here as I can.
